The politicians we have worked with:

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams:

We have partnered with Speaker Adrienne Adams and her team on participatory budgeting. We have developed a community project to renovate a park near CTEA. We have also reached out to NYC Council Speaker Adrienne Adams to gain funding for FIRST robotics programs in New York City schools.

Congressman Gregory Meeks:

Our team has contacted Congressman Gregory Meeks to advocate about the funding for Career and Technical Education (CTE) in schools. We have come together and visited CTE classrooms to discuss the importance of the Perkins V grant.

Future Developments:

For the future, our team has aimed to provide students with the same enriching FIRST and STEM learning experiences as all the other teams. We are currently in the development phase for floor plans and budgets, with strong advocacy from Adrienne Adams’ team during the voting process
