Mohammed Hossain

Founder of Redhawk Robotics

The Redhawk Robotics team, which was previously called the Roaring Redhawk Robotics, has an inspiring story that began in 2019 when we participated in the FTC SKYZONE game. The team was founded by Mohammed Hossain, who has an unwavering passion for providing students with the same opportunities and life-changing experiences that he had. His dedication has served as a driving force for the team since its inception. Since then, the Redhawk Robotics team has grown tremendously in terms of the number of members and resources. Last year, we made the transition from being an FTC team to an FRC team. As a new FRC team, we are determined to spread STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education, which is a shared mission among all team members. The team's instructor, Mr. Hossain, has been a guiding light for the Redhawk Robotics team. His passion for STEAM education has influenced and impacted the team's activities, goals, and mindset. The Redhawk Robotics team is dedicated to upholding Mr. Hossain's values and legacy by continuing to inspire and motivate students to pursue STEAM education and careers

At Redhawk Robotics, teamwork is the foundation of success and promoting Gracious Professionalism®. The team fosters a safe and respectful environment that encourages students to collaborate and help each other reach their full potential. The team's collaborative approach ensures that members feel supported and valued as they discover and nurture their passion for robotics.

The FRC team is divided into four sub-teams, namely, manufacturing, operations, electronics, and programming. Each member has the opportunity to specialize and expand their knowledge in their area of interest. The team's experienced mentors offer unparalleled support and guidance to students as they navigate the complexities of robotics, providing them with a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Redhawk Robotics` goal is to empower the upcoming generation of leaders, equipping them with vital tools and resources through the efforts of FLIGHT (Foster, Lead, Inspire, Grow, Help, and Transform the community). Every child deserves the chance to break free from preconceived limitations and to truly shine. Redhawk Robotics believes in STEAM accessibility for all; no matter where they are, and now is their time to soar!

Redhawk Robotics is a close-knit and vibrant community that recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusiveness. It provides an ideal platform for students and mentors from different backgrounds to come together and delve into their passion for STEM. The team boasts of a total of 42 students, consisting of all four high school grades and all 3 of our majors, and nine mentors from various professional fields who are always eager to share their knowledge and experience.
