WORKSHOP LEADERSHIP:
Teaming up with StuyPulse, we hosted a workshop at Stuyvesant High School's StuySplash event, diving into the use of tools like Basecamp and Slack to enhance communication and collaboration for robotics teams. We shared insights on project management and kick-off preparation, providing valuable pointers for aspiring leaders in the community.
MENTOR MEETUP SUCCESS:
Redhawk Robotics invited mentors to our Meetup Workshop, fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and empowering each other to guide the next generation of innovators. By creating a supportive space for mentor collaboration, we strengthen our team and contribute to the broader success of the robotics community.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH:
In a collaboration with NYC FIRST and FIRST Teams, Redhawk Robotics stood as a proud representative for FIRST at the Maker Fair hosted in Coney Island after a five year discontinuation of the event. Through interactive robot demonstrations, hands-on activities, and passionate discussions, Redhawk Robotics in collaboration with teams from NYC FIRST ignited a curiosity for S.T.E.A.M. for all demographics of attendees.
SWERVE INITIATIVE:
In partnership with the NYC DOE (Department of Education) we kickstarted an initiative to introduce swerve drive technology to city-wide FRC teams. By partnering with NYC DOE, we aim to create a ripple effect of progress and empower teams with the transformative game changing capabilities of swerve - drive.
