Project

Horizon

our venture into international outreach, promoting STEM education and cultural exchange to inspire and connect with young minds globally

  • 6 Spike Prime kits were used to facilitate their learning and enjoyment.

  • We taught 46 students from grades 9-10 the fundamentals of robotics using the kits

  • Prime kits to teach core engineering principles

  • Our engaging activities include designing and coding robots, along with an exciting Lego race car battle for students' enjoyment.

“I had an amazing experience with Project Philippines, reconnecting with my roots and sharing my passion for robotics and STEAM. I introduced the participants to FIRST and helped them build creative race cars using spike prime kits. We had a fun competition!” - Giankyle Vallarta

NETHERLANDS

  • We engaged in online dialogue with a Dutch teacher and he received in-depth training in the FLL curriculum.

  • He used this training to successfully create a robotics interest club at his school

  • Informative Zoom calls, introducing them to the First Lego League (FLL) and the First Tech Challenge (FTC)

”Our collaborative effort with a Dutch school has been a shining example of international partnership, enhancing STEM education through the FLL curriculum.” - Szymon Koc

PolAND

  • We introduced FLL and FTC

  • Inspired zoom calls to a STEM center in Poland attended by 345 middle school students.

  • We aim to get this project fully operational by the end of 2024

  • Our initiative involved comprehensive FLL curriculum training

  • Led to the establishment of a robotics interest club

“Through our partnership with a Polish STEM center, we're bridging continents and cultures, aiming to ignite a passion for STEM in hundreds of middle school students with the engaging power of FLL and FTC programs."
